TBS is founded by the British High Commissioner and his wife with 30 students from 5 nationalities in a residential area, Defence Colony

1968

O levels introduced

Moved to the current location in Chanakyapuri

1975

Sports Day instituted with Yellow House winning the inaugural trophy

1977

A group of students putting in a request for a water cooler led to the formation of Student Council

#

1983

HRH Duke of Edinburgh visited the school and inaugurated the auditorium

Parent Teacher Association formed

#

1988

First ever school magazine, Cover Up, launched

IGCSE introduced

A levels introduced

IB Diploma introduced

School uniform introduced

The Panther chosen as the school mascot for sports
